Grateful to have had the opportunity to attend the Texas Institute of Letters' banquet in El Paso on April 23rd, where Old Country Fiddle: Stories was recognized as the winner of this year's Jesse H. Jones Award for Best Book of Fiction.

Jesse H. Jones Award for Best Book of Fiction

I would like to share my deepest gratitude to the Texas Institute of Letters for naming Old Country Fiddle the winner of the 2022 Jesse H. Jones Award for Best Book of Fiction. 

Authors and Artists Event

 I am pleased to announce that I will be reading a story from Old Country Fiddle at the Bridgeport Public Library on Thursday, February 24th for the Authors and Artists Night. Old Country Fiddle

I am thrilled to announce that my latest book, Old Country Fiddle, was just released by Red Dirt Press. This collection includes many new stories as well as previously published pieces such as "Ink upon the Furrows," which won the Texas Observer Short Story Contest and was named a finalist for the Kay Cattarulla Award for Best Short Story by the Texas Institute of Letters.
